Pivotree Expands Partnership with SAP to Become Value-Added Reseller for SAP Customer Data Cloud

Value Added Resellers can resell, implement, and support clients on SAP’s solutions, and each unique solution from SAP’s C/4HANA suite has an extensive process for vetting partners.

REDMOND, Wash., July 9, 2020 — Pivotree – a leading Global Commerce and MDM Services Provider – today announced its completion of the SAP certification process to become a certified Value-Added Reseller (VAR) of its Customer Data Cloud Platform, part of the SAP C/4HANA suite. This certification cements Pivotree’s reputation for its ability to architect, sell, and deliver next-generation commerce systems with centralized customer data.

VARs can resell, implement, and support clients on SAP’s solutions, and each unique solution from SAP’s C/4HANA suite has an extensive process for vetting partners. With this certification, Pivotree can manage the entire client lifecycle for its SAP Customer Data Cloud projects, or collaborate with other partners of SAP. For brands who would prefer to deal with one vendor for their entire process, streamlining their ability to complete digital transformation projects, Pivotree can be the single point of engagement and relieve some of the coordination work that these large-scale projects entail, ultimately allowing brands to focus on their own business rather than being tied up in multiple engagements. Pivotree can also use its expertise in SAP’s suite of Customer Experience solutions and Digital Transformation to customize solutions for individual client requirements.

Used as part of the vetting process, Pivotree’s first multi-part SAP C/4HANA with Customer Data Cloud project was completed in 2019 for client TGI Fridays. According to TGI Fridays’ Senior Director of Digital, Chris Hansen, “Fridays’ digital transformation would not have been possible without Pivotree’s knowledge of the SAP suite of products and their ability to be agile given our short timeline.” The project included an upgrade of SAP Commerce, which Pivotree had previously implemented for TGI Fridays in 2016, as well as the implementation and integration of SAP Marketing and Customer Data Cloud. It resulted in a lower TCO, a seamless guest experience, and a single view of their guests in the Customer Data hub, which can be administered along with the rest of the Commerce and Marketing components from a single UI using SmartEdit.
